Semester 1 2008 Reflection

1. What was you greatest success in ART this semester?
-My greatest sucess in art this semester would be my self portrait drawing. I think that it show my artistic skill the best out of all of my projects completed this semester. i worked hard on it and it came out nice.

2. What would you like to improve on in the future if you had art again?
- I would like to imporve on my skill in sculptures. my totem pole sculpture was good, but i didnt take much time doing it and it could have been better.

3. What was your favorite project? Why?
- my favorite project this sememster was the 2D personal portrait that we did at the beggingin of the semester. It was my favorite project to work on and i enjoyed doing it.

4. What was your least favorite project? Why?
- My least favorite project this sememster was the totem poles that was did. i thought it was a pointless project that didnt show much artistic skill and seemed to be a waste of time.

5. If you had art again, what would you really like to create, or what medium would you like to work with?
- If i had art again next semester, i would want to work with any meduim or create any project that showed my artistic skill. I think that out of all the projects we did this semster, only one, our personal portrait, was a real expression of our personal tealent in art. All the other proects we did had guidelines and directions that we had to follow and i think that i didnt let us really express our art in our own way. If i had art again, i would want to work on projects that offered alot more freedom from the teacher and from the guidelines.
